SWAT: A young student of a madrassa has died after he was brutally tortured for five hours by his teachers sparking outrage in the Swat area of Khawazakhela.
The enraged relatives and citizens of the area blocked the main Khwazakhela Bazaar road in Swat and demanded immediate punishment for the involved teachers
A fellow student narrating the ordeal revealed that three teachers took turns torturing the child inside a locked room.
The violence continued for five hours without pause. “One teacher would leave, and another would continue the torture. In the end, he couldn’t survive,” the student said.
A disturbing video surfaced after the incident, further inflaming public anger. The footage shows terrified children who were also reportedly tortured by the madrassa teachers.
Locals have demanded the arrest of the involved teachers and called for a proper monitoring of madrassas to prevent such horrific incidents in the future.
